Just finished this truck for Greg H. A ’49 Chevy originally from Wyoming with original patina. We completed a full re-wire from bumper to bumper. This truck got a brand new chassis harness and all electronics installed and configured by Trever.
This is a really cool truck with a built 6.0L LS with LS3 heads, Edelbrock carb intake, built 4L60E transmission, Ford 9″ rear, 20″ Detroit Speed wheels, airbags on all 4 wheels, Fat Man front suspension with power steering and a fully boxed and notched frame.
Extra special attention was spent tucking away and hiding the wiring whenever possible, including running the tail section wiring through the frame.
We also wired in all electronics:
- FAST TCS transmission controller
- MSD 6LS ignition box
- RideTech AirPod air suspension controller and air compressor
- Dakota Digital gauges
- RedLine headlights with LED Halos
Some other things that were done that can’t be seen is thinning and cleaning up of the harnesses that come with the FAST and MSD boxes. A peeve of mine is that these harnesses are generic and bulky. I fully disassemble them, shorten and terminate unused wires, lengthen wires that are too short to run where I want them and then re-loom them so that they are thinner, shorter and more compact and easier to hide.
